of Langley Township
because I believe you

puts community first.

THE CAMPAIGN

Working Together for Langley Township

Like many of you, I've watched our Township of Langley grow into a vibrant and dynamic community. But with that growth comes real challenges that require honest conversation and smart, collaborative planning. As a life-long resident, I've seen firsthand how:

  • Rising costs are putting pressure on families and residents,

  • Infrastructure needs and spending are increasing our debt load, and

  • Community priorities are being overshadowed by political priorities.

These realities underscore the immediate need for an experienced and effective Council to guide Langley to a strong future. We can't just grow; we need to grow responsibly so everyone can thrive—and I believe that's possible when we work together.

That's why I'm running for Council in this Township of Langley municipal by-election on October 25, 2025—and I’m asking for your support. Can I count on you?

I truly care about this community and want it to be the best place to live, work, and play. are a diverse community and working together means that we listen to each other, value the unique perspectives, and make decisions that are best for the overall community. We need leaders on Council who put others ahead of themselves.

THE CANDIDATE

Ready to Step Up
from Day One

My roots in Langley run deep. For over 20 years, my family and I have proudly called this community home. It’s where we’ve raised our three daughters, and where I've coached community soccer, been an active volunteer, and served two terms on Council.

My experience—including my achievements on Council, my work as a dean at Trinity Western University, and my service on various local boards and community organizations—has prepared me to be an effective leader that listens, collaborates, and takes action. But more than credentials, I bring a genuine passion for this community and the people who make it special. I'm committed to bringing collaborative leadership to the challenges we face, working with you, not just for you, to find the best solutions that benefit everyone.

Balanced & Thoughtful
Growth

Ensuring that our
infrastructure planning is
proactive and sustainable,
not reactive.

Smart, Sustainable Development

I am committed to delivering policies that respect the unique character of our neighbourhoods while responsibly planning for our future growth. We can protect what we love about Langley—our community identity and our green spaces—while also building the essential services and amenities our growing community needs. My approach is a balanced one that ensures Langley remains a great place to live, work, and play for everyone.

Liveable, Walkable Communities

My vision for our communities is one where residents can thrive and meet most of their daily needs on foot. By designing interconnected neighbourhoods with direct and varied routes for pedestrians, we can support the local amenities and businesses that make life easier and more enjoyable. This isn't just about infrastructure; it's a holistic approach that connects the built environment with the well-being of the people who live there.

Diverse Housing Options

We need housing that serves every stage of life and every income level. As Councillor, I will champion policies that support a diversity of housing options, including townhomes, duplexes, and small apartments at different price points. I will work with Council members to provide real choices for young families, seniors, and essential workers, ensuring our community is accessible to everyone.

Fiscal
Responsibility &
Affordability

Addressing the increasing
debt load and rising costs
that impact our residents
and businesses.

Safe Communities

I believe a thriving community is a safe and connected one. As Councillor, I will push for robust public safety measures, including well-equipped emergency services, well-lit streets, and smart infrastructure that keeps pace with demand. My focus on traffic safety and responsible infrastructure planning will help reduce collisions and create secure environments for pedestrians and cyclists.

Social Infrastructure

I champion spaces that bring people together and strengthen our local economy. This includes well-maintained parks where kids can play safely and outstanding facilities for sports, arts, and recreation that meet the needs of a growing population. By investing responsibly in these community spaces, we can create opportunities for our youth to grow and thrive.

Improved Connectivity

I'm committed to creating diverse transportation options that connect our growing community. This means working with Council to improve walkability, expand access to public transit, and create dedicated bike lanes and pedestrian routes. These efforts will give residents a range of choices for getting around, leading to safer commutes, reduced traffic congestion, and more active lifestyle options.

Accessible Services

A key part of a liveable community is ensuring every resident has access to essential services and amenities within walking distance. This includes grocery stores and shops, schools and healthcare facilities, parks and community centers. As Councillor, I'll work to improve accessibility to municipal programs, reduce barriers to services, and ensure every neighbourhood is well-served and connected.

Community
Wellbeing &
Safety

Putting community priorities
ahead of politics, fostering
an environment where all
can thrive.

Responsible Spending

I believe that effective financial management is about more than just balanced budgets—it’s about strategic investments that improve services without placing unnecessary tax burdens on residents. Growth must be managed with sound planning and smart budgeting to ensure our tax dollars are used efficiently and provide long-term financial sustainability for our community. My commitment is also to transparent governance through genuine partnerships and community consultation, so residents have a real voice in shaping our future.

Lower Living Costs & Taxes

As Councillor, I will work to fund essential services like schools, parks, and water systems through smart economic development rather than relying on increased taxation. Using every available tool, I’ll make life more affordable by addressing the high costs of rent, groceries, daycare, and public transit through strategic municipal action and community partnerships.

Affordable Housing

I recognize that affordable housing is a critical issue and will prioritize policies that increase housing accessibility and affordability. I'll work with Council to align municipal strategy with sustainable housing initiatives and streamline the development permitting process to help create housing more quickly in communities that need it most.

Let's build
our Township's
future together.

Langley's future depends on effective Council leadership. I believe we need to put community priorities ahead of politics. I'm asking for your support to help build a strong future for everyone.
